Traffic Alert: Pedestrian in serious condition after being hit by car on I-295 near Town Center Parkway

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A pedestrian was hit by a car Tuesday morning on the I-295 south on ramp at Town Center Parkway, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to Capt. Eric Prosswimmer.
Drivers were warned to expect delays in the area.
