Man standing by ATV on Normandy Boulevard hit by van, killed: FHP

A 53-year-old Palm Coast man was killed Sunday night in a crash on Normandy Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the man was standing in the right lane of Normandy Boulevard just east of Blair Road next to an ATV with no lights on when he and the ATV were hit by a van.

FHP said the man who was hit died at the scene.

The 34-year-old Jacksonville man driving the van was not injured and remained at the scene, troopers said. He was wearing his seat belt.
