Traffic Alert: All lanes of Alden Road in the Sandalwood area are closed due to crash with injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An accident with multiple injuries has closed all lanes of Alden Road in the Sandalwood neighborhood on Monday afternoon.

North and southbound lanes between Alden Rd and Whitehorse Road are closed as crews respond to the crash.

According to Jacksonville Fire and Rescue, five people were taken to the hospital, with two in life-threatening condition.

Drivers should avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
