An early morning crash Tuesday on I-75 southbound in Alachua County left one woman dead, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the woman, whose age was not released, was walking south in the center lane of I-75 just after midnight when she was hit by an SUV.
She died at the scene.
The 57-year-old man driving the SUV and his 51-year-old and 20-year-old female passengers, all from Miami, were not hurt, according to the report.
The 20-year-old was the only one not wearing a seat belt.
