FHP asks for help to find vehicle involved in deadly hit-and-run in Putnam County

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – A man died Thursday night in Putnam County after he was struck by a vehicle that left the scene, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Church Lake Drive and Dawn Avenue, north of Interlachen.
Troopers said a passerby found the man unconscious and called 911.
Anyone with information about the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol.
The FHP report did not indicate the man’s age or where he is from.
