FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A 64-year-old bicyclist from Ormond Beach died Sunday afternoon after he was struck by a pick-up truck on U.S. 1 at the Flagler-Volusia County line, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the bicyclist was headed north in the outside southbound lane of US 1 just before 1 p.m. Sunday when he crossed into the path of a Ford F150 that was headed south.

The pickup truck hit the bicyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, FHP said.
The man died at a local hospital.
The 32-year-old Palm Coast man driving the truck and a 1-year-old boy in the truck were not hurt, troopers said.
