A 19-year-old woman from St. Augustine died Sunday night in a violent single-vehicle crash in St. Johns County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash report shows the woman was headed west on State Road 207, west of US 1, around 8:30 p.m. Sunday when her car ran off the roadway to the right, hitting a culvert and a sign pole on the right grass shoulder.

Troopers said the impact sent the car airborne, and the woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car onto the grass shoulder, where the car landed on top of her.
She died at the scene, troopers said.
