Community turnout fuels excitement at opening for new family resource center on Eastside

Families on Jacksonville’s Eastside now have a new place to turn for help. Mayor Donna Deegan joined officials from the nonprofit Family Support Services on Friday to cut the ribbon on the Center of Hope at Kennedy, a family resource center off Ionia Street.
