When will the seaweed go away? Expert weighs in on record sargassum season

Massive mats of sargassum seaweed are washing ashore across Northeast Florida — including Atlantic Beach — covering large stretches of sand and creating a foul odor. Experts say this could be one of the largest sargassum seasons on record.
