Nearly 6,400 veterans died by suicide in 2023, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs. If you're a veteran struggling right now, or you're worried about someone you love, there are people you can talk to and places to turn here at home. Katherine Sperry is the Suicide Prevention Program Supervisor with the VA.
