 Summer is here and as we enter the season for beachgoing and boating, that warm weather brings an unwanted guest to our coastlines...A flesh-eating bacteria. Named "Vibrio vulnificus", when it infects a person, it can cause serious problems and even be life threatening. But now researchers at the University of Florida are developing a new artificial intelligence tool to help public health officials *predict where the flesh-eating bacteria is most likely to occur.
