Streeter Acclaimed Kitchen reopens as food truck after restaurant fire

Streeter Acclaimed Kitchen is back in business less than three months after an apparent electrical fire forced the Jacksonville restaurant to close. The restaurant relaunched Saturday with a food truck at Trout River Food Truck Park, where customers lined up hours before the grand opening to support the business and try its Southern soul food. The fire caused extensive damage to the restaurant’s brick-and-mortar location, leaving owner Johnathan Streeter and his team looking for ways to rebuild.  Community members contributed through a GoFundMe fundraiser and other acts of support, helping the restaurant reopen sooner than expected.
