Two Republicans are competing in the primary for this seat. No Democrat signed up to run in November, but an NPA candidate will be on the November ballot and a write-in candidate qualified, as well.

Political experience: Appointed by Governor Scott in March of 2014 , Elected 2014 and 2020

What do you see as the top three issues you’ll likely face while holding this office?

  1. Putnam County Growth, Jobs and Housing
  2. Aging infrastructure Roads, Bridges, etc
  3. Maintaining and enhancing our Natural resources.

How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?

  • I can and do use my Contacts at the State Level , Regional Level and Local level to advocate for my employers The Citizens of Putnam County. I have a positive personality and I Promote Putnam County

What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?

  • Working for the citizens of the county in a positive manner and providing better transparency and accountability. I want to be known for leaving Public service in a manner better than i found it

Tom Williams

Political experience: Chairman of the Putnam Co. REC for the past 6+ years

What do you see as the top three issues you’ll likely face while holding this office?

  • True transparency, positive growth, more citizen involvement by respecting, listening, and responding to all

How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?

  • As mentioned before people want to fell they are being listened to, I’ve been in customer related business’s well over 45 years, I will use that experience to treat the people of Putnam with the respect they deserve. I also have been a certified law enforcement officer for 40+ years, at times having to make life changing decisions at a moments notice. I will bring a different perspective to the office

What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?

  • As one who entered the office with Integrity sustain the term with that Integrity and left with Integrity
