It’s been an active afternoon across the area, but the threat for severe weather has diminished.
The severe thunderstorm watch has been cancelled for the area, but the flooding threat will continue this evening.
Rain and storms will continue to impact much of the area through the early evening hours. Gusty winds, lightning, and heavy rain will remain a concern.
Showers and rain will stick around through mid-evening with temps in the 70s.
The storms expected on Thursday follow another strong round of storms on Wednesday that left damage across our area.

Another round of showers and storms will be possible overnight, with some storms possibly being strong.
More rain and storms are likely again on Friday, with some possibly becoming strong to severe.
