After near-record highs, showers and storms have developed and this activity will mainly impact inland areas. Some storms may be strong, with temps falling into the 80s.

The rain and storms will fade away later tonight, with just a few clouds. Expect morning lows in the mid 70s.

July 4th features more heat and lower storm chances. It will be hot, with a blend of sun and clouds and afternoon highs in the upper 90s.

Scattered showers and storms will develop in the late afternoon and evening, but coverage will likely be lower than today. Most of the fireworks shows should be ok, with temps in the 80s.

Rain and storm chances increase heading into the shortened workweek. We’ll see scattered storms both Wednesday and Thursday, with highs in the mid 90s.

The active weather will likely continue into Friday.
