Scattered showers came to an end around sunset followed by the clearing skies.  Did you see the rocket launch?  Clear skies tonight will lead to chilly temperatures Friday then colder temperatures this weekend.

Now:  Clear, chilly and damp.

Tonight:  Clear and chilly.

Friday:  Sunny skies return.  Sunglasses and winter jackets for the Gator Bowl.  Clearing skies overnight will lead to morning lows in the upper 30s to low 40s for SE GA, 40s for NE FL.  Sunny skies with highs in the 50s.  Breezy, chilly wind from the west at 10 - 15 mph with stronger gusts.  Clear skies with light freeze and frost possible overnight through early Saturday.

Gator Bowl:  Breezy, sunny and chilly with kick-off temperatures around 55 degrees.

Hazards:  Minor flooding continues along the St. Marys and Santa Fe Rivers.  Rip Currents through Friday.  Freeze/Frost for inland areas this weekend and early next week.

Looking ahead:  Sunny skies and much colder this weekend.  It is a chilly start to the New Year with another front, showers early next week.
