You’re going to want the umbrella today if only to provide shade before scattered showers for some

Plenty of sun and heat today! Plan accordingly.

Saturday outlook (maxuser)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Another hot, hot day ahead with temperatures reaching the upper-80s, low-90s. Plan to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Be sure to bring shade to your outdoor activities throughout the Memorial Day weekend because it’s going to “feel like” triple digits.

Saturday evening: rain in the forecast for SE Georgia and later into the evening in NE Florida. Just enough to get you wet for a little while, chances are between 20-30%. The east coast sea breeze will keep most of the rain away from the coast. Sunset: 8:20 p.m.

Sunday: rain chances diminish, while the hot temperatures continue, light winds provide little relief when outdoors.Memorial Day

Monday: hot and dry, highs in the mid-90s with “feels like” temperatures close to 100.
