Labor Day weekend begins pleasant before storms

Sunday temperatures remain average, with rain chances near 60% for Northeast Florida in the afternoon. Rain chances in Southeast Georgia will remain less than 10%.

Monday thunderstorms are highly likely for Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida. Rain accumulation is currently less than a quarter of an inch for this rain event.

For the next three days, most rain will begin in the early afternoon as temperatures are approaching their highest.
