A unique behind-the-scenes interview with a Hurricane Hunter meteorologist Captain Cotto’s first flight was in a Category 5
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As the Hurricane Hunters prepare to fly into the latest tropical system in the Western Gulf of Mexico, I had the opportunity to learn more about the Air Force Reserves 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron from Captain Amaryllis Cotto, who is also a meteorologist with the National Weather Service Houston.
