Rain expected Tuesday evening ahead of cold front

Rain will begin Tuesday evening ahead of a cold front that will bring cooler temperatures.

Accumulation will range between a quarter of an inch for coastal counties and half an inch for inland counties. Precipitation will continue through early morning Wednesday and the early afternoon.

Sunny days return after the storms move through with cooler temperatures. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s and lows in the mid 40s for the end of the week.
