Sunday afternoon brings more severe thunderstorms

SUNDAY NIGHT WEATHER

As the cold front approaches temperatures will drop into the low 60s before 11:59 PM. Winds will remain breezy coming from the south and southwest at about 15 miles per hour. Gusts will remain in the 20 MPH range. Humidity will remain high and clouds clear out closer to midnight. Thunderstorms end by 7 PM and rain ends by 9 PM. Rain is not in the forecast for Monday.

DAMAGE REPORTS:

The National Weather Service reported a funnel cloud near State Road 520 and I-95 in Brunswick Georgia at 11:45 a.m.

Just north of Folkston Georgia wind damage was reported for Highway 301 and Winokur Rock Road.

The Osceola National Forest had wind damage reported this morning near I-10 and Northeast Gum Swamp Road. Tornado Watches began at 2 AM this morning. Winds have been recorded at 45 to 60 miles per hour. There have been reports of possible hail a large as a moth ball in Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida.

Thunderstorms remain possible until 7 p.m.
