Disturbance is not heading towards the Atlantic coast

No description found

There is a disturbance in the Central Subtropical Atlantic. Georgia and Florida will not be impacted by this disturbance.

According to the National Hurricane Center, satellite images indicate that disorganized showers and thunderstorms are located east of an area of low pressure about 600 miles east of Bermuda.

There is a high chance that the disturbance will continue to develop for the next 2 to 7 days.

Storms could continue to intensify and then lead to a short-lived tropical depression today. However, by Tuesday, the system is expected to stop developing.

GFS and Euro models show the system will completely dissipate by Wednesday.

Though it may be alarming for some to see the disturbance in the Atlantic is not projected to come west towards the Atlantic Coast. It is expected to move northeast at around 10 miles per hour.
