JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – While the showers and isolated thunderstorms will be hit-or-miss, the biggest hazards are localized flooding in already saturated areas. Some places could see an additional .5 to 1 inch of rain. Most rain will be pushed inland by the east coast sea breeze.
Add in the humidity, and the feels-like temperatures will be over 100 degrees with highs expected in the upper 80s, low 90s.
Keep the umbrellas handy on Monday
Monday is the first day of school for many kids, and the morning is leaning towards being drier than the afternoon pickup. The highs will be warmer in the low 90s.
