JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – More sunshine and back to normal temperatures on Monday after hitting a high of 88 under cloudy skies on Sunday. The sea breeze convergence will bring afternoon showers and some strong storms to the area, staying mostly west of I-95.
Morning showers have caused at least 1-2 inches to fall in Duval County out towards the beaches.
Drier air will settle into Southeast Georgia on Monday as temperatures stay in the upper 80s along the coast and lower 90s inland.
Hazards along the beaches due to Hurricane Erin are high rip current risks and high surf through Thursday.
