Tracking a Tropical Wave for possible development

In the Eastern Atlantic, we continue to track a tropical wave that is forecast to emerge off of west Africa tomorrow.

Environmental conditions could support slow development of this system over the weekend and into early next week.

The wave will move toward the west or west-northwest at 10 to 15 mph over the eastern and central tropical Atlantic.

The Euro has not shown development thus far and the GFS continues to show weak or partial development next week.

The formation chance through 48 hours re,ain at 0 percent while the formation chance through 7 days has increased to 30 percent.
