JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Expect a cloudy day today with showers and thunderstorms approaching from the west as a cold front passes through.
Temperatures will reach a high near 80 degrees, making it a warm day despite the clouds and storms. Keep an umbrella handy today and be prepared for brief bursts of heavy rain and gusty winds.
Showers are forecast to move offshore around sunset, giving way to drier and cooler conditions.
Tuesday, temperatures fall below normal with highs in the lower 70s. A second cold front is expected to pass through on Wednesday, dropping highs later in the week to the upper 60s.
