Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory hit NE Florida, SE Georgia

A Freeze Warning and a Frost Advisory will start the day for inland areas of northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. The Freeze Warning will be in effect from 1 a.m. - 8 a.m. The Frost Advisory will be in effect from 3 a.m. - 8 a.m.

Based on current models, the duration of freezing temperatures will generally last about 2 - 4 hours.

Sunny skies with warmer afternoon highs are waiting for us Wednesday as highs climb to near 70 degrees. A dry front will move through Thursday for a brief cool down before temperatures climb through the weekend.

Speaking of the weekend, there will be something worth viewing under our clear skies. A cooler Thursday will lead to seasonal to above seasonal temperatures through the weekend.
