High Pressure Keeps Rain Away, Sunshine Dominates Forecast

Patchy frost expected for some areas Saturday morning

A Frost Advisory is in effect for Saturday morning.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The rest of the day will feature plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Afternoon temperatures will be near 70 degrees. It will remain breezy thanks to the passage of a front earlier today.

Tonight's low temperatures.

Tonight will be clear and chilly with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Patchy frost will be possible Saturday morning, especially north and west of the metro where temperatures will drop into the low to mid 30s.

A Frost Advisory is in effect for Saturday morning for part of our area. Make sure to take protective measures if you have any outdoor plants.

Weekend forecast.

High pressure will build overhead this weekend, which will bring more sunshine to our area and above normal temperatures. Highs on Saturday will be near 70 degrees, low to mid 70s on Sunday.

Looking ahead to next week, high pressure will remain overhead. Little if any rain is in sight through next weekend. Temperatures will remain above normal with highs in the 70s. Monday will be breezy and the breeze will diminish on Tuesday.
