Freeze, Frost and a chilly wind this week

Rain expected midweek ahead of another cold front

From record highs this weekend to multiple freezes this week. Chilly temperatures will continue this week with Hard Freeze temperatures on Friday and early next week.

A Freeze warning will be in effect from 12 a.m. - 9 a.m. For inland S southeast Georgia and a Frost Advisory will be in effect 3 a.m. - 9a.m. Tuesday for northeast Florida near and along I-10 and coastal southeast Georgia, west of I-95.

Temperatures will remain near seasonal Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon as rain chances increase with the next cold front. Scattered showers and areas of light rain will be possible on Wednesday and early Thursday with rainfall less than half an inch.

Tumbling temperatures will lead to another Freeze and Hard Freeze on Friday morning. Don’t put the blankets and plant protection away as another shot of cold air returns on Monday.

Tonight: Partly cloudy and chilly with a Freeze warning and Frost Advisory locally.

Tuesday: Freeze Warning for inland southeast Georgia from 12 a.m. - 9 a.m. Frost Advisory for northeast Florida and coastal southeast Georgia, west of I-95.

Looking ahead: Scattered showers and areas of light rain will be possible on Wednesday afternoon and early Thursday. Temperatures will turn much colder behind the front with a Freeze and Hard Freeze possible.
