I need a doctor and an attorney for this weather whiplash!

From record lows to 70s to a chance of a winter mix and then another hard freeze.

The weather models are still suggesting a slight chance of a rain and snow mix across areas of southeast Georgia early Sunday.

This weather event will be like a Bigfoot or UFO sighting. You’ll see something, but not quite sure what is was. Southeast Georgia and areas near and along the I-75 will have the best chance of rain, briefly changing to snow or a winter mix.

Accumulation is not expected as roads and ground cover are too warm. However, wind-sheltered fields and pastures may see a light dusting. The best chance for a small snowman or a snowball will be off of car tops and exposed patio furniture.

Another round of Freeze Watch is in place for late Sunday and early Monday with a Hard Freeze expected for the start of the week.

Tonight: Mostly clear, cold, light wind.

Saturday: Patchy frost early then becoming mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Moring lows in the 30s and 40s. Afternoon highs in the 60s and 70s. Wind: SSW 5-10 mph. Cloudy skies will develop late with a chance of a winter mix in southeast Georgia and rain over northeast Florida.

Sunday: Moring lows will be too warm to support accumulating snow. There will be a chance of a brief winter mix from around 6 a.m. - 10 a.m., mainly north of Waycross, GA. Morning lows in the 30s and 40s. Afternoon high in the 40s and 50s. Rain chance: 50 - 80 percent. Wind: NW 10-15 mph with gusts around 20 mph.

A Freeze Watch will become a Freeze Warning to start the week. Freezing temperatures and frost possible through early Wednesday morning.
