A warmer Wednesday with a chance of scattered showers developing late. The temperature will slip to less than seasonal levels on Thursday and early Friday. Seasonal temperatures return this weekend with warmer afternoon highs expected next week.
Mostly clear skies tonight with frost possible across inland counties. A Frost Advisory will be in effect for Alachua and Putnam counties from 2 a.m. - 8 a.m. Wednesday. Temperatures will be split at the state line as clouds roll into southeast Georgia ahead of the front. Highs mainly in the 60s in SE GA with highs in the upper 60s to 70s as northeast Florida will spend a little more time under the sun.
A breezy west wind will bring a cooler Thursday with freezing temperatures expected for inland areas on Friday morning.
