Mostly cloudy skies this evening with partial clearing late tonight. Temperatures will tumble, prompting a Freeze Warning for SE GA and areas west of the St. Johns River in NE FL. The Freeze Warning will be in effect from 3 a.m. - 9 a.m.
Another shot of cold air will slip in late Saturday night for a possible light freeze and frost early Sunday. Afternoon temperatures will reach the low to mid 60s under sunny skies.
A warming trend kicks off next week with afternoon highs in the 70s as the parched conditions continue.

Looking ahead: The warming trend next week will be nice as we survey the plant damage from this winter’s cold. It will also be a good time to start trimming back some of the brown leaves in hopes that Spring will bring some green back to our bushes.
