Scattered showers and downpours continue along our beaches, with some showers dissipating over Clay and Putnam counties. The breezy northeast wind will diminish later tonight as skies become partly cloudy. Patchy to dense fog may develop across coastal counties and inland areas of northeast Florida and southeast Georgia.
A brief warming trend is expected through the end of the week, with near-record highs on Friday. The forecast calls for 89 degrees, just shy of the 90-degree record set in 2023.
This weekend, another round of strong coastal winds and marine hazards is anticipated, with temperatures remaining near seasonal norms. The increasing northeasterly flow will bring a slight chance of passing showers to coastal counties on Saturday and Sunday. Northeast winds are expected to average 15-20 mph, with gusts between 30 and 40 mph.

Thursday: Less windy under partly cloudy skies. Early fog patches will fade, leaving partly cloudy conditions. Lows will be in the 50s and 60s. Highs inland will reach the 80s; along beaches, upper 60s to low 70s. NE winds at 5-10 mph. Dense fog may persist overnight.
Friday: Near-record highs under mostly sunny skies. A great day for the Jumbo Shrimp opening weekend! Lows in the 50s and 60s. Highs inland in the 80s to low 90s; along the beaches, in the 70s.
