Update: 4:30 p.m. Flood Advisory - 6p.m. The slow moving sea breeze is dragging soaking rainfall and flooding, east of Highway 301, across Clay and Putnam counties through 6 p.m.
Rainfall totals for today have reached 2 - 3 inches, west of Highway 301, as the sea breeze has moved east.
The summer pattern continues as a shift in the wind settles in.
Isolated sea breeze showers and storms are moving inland along the Gulf Coast breeze as the Atlantic breeze begins to stir. Showers with storms will continue, mainly between Highway 301 and the River through 9 - 10 p.m.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through Friday as the Atlantic breeze pushes showers and storms toward the River and I-75 through the rest of the week.
All models have picked up the coverage for rain this weekend. The consensus is Saturday will be wetter with less coverage and activity on Sunday. Locally heavy rain with flooding and damaging wind from stronger storms remain the main hazards this weekend.
Temperatures continue with near seasonal averages of 70s in the morning and upper 80s to low 90s for the beaches and inland areas.

Friday - Sunday: The pattern continues with building afternoon clouds and rounds of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the 70s. Afternoon highs in the low 90s inland, upper 80s to low 90s along the beaches. The wind will switch from the southwest to the southeast through the weekend. This will bring rounds of showers and thunderstorms across the area, mainly between I-95 and Highway 301.
