The Weather Authority Impact Day continues through the early afternoon today as areas of locally heavy rain pass though. Locally heavy rounds of rain are expected near and along I-10 and northward across southeast Georgia. The best chances for heavy rainfall will be near I-75 and west of US1 in SE GA.

Locally heavy rainfall overnight will come to an end around 10-11 a.m. This means it's a headlights and wipers on, umbrella in one hand coffee in the other kind of morning. Additional rainfall could add up to another inch or two, be cautious of puddles and wet roads. Morning lows in the 50s for SE GA, 60s for NE FL. Afternoon highs under clearing skies in the low 70s. Wind NW 10-15 mph. Clear and cool overnight.
Looking ahead: Good Friday through Easter Sunday will see sunny skies with warming afternoon highs.
Hazards: Locally heavy rainfall, strong thunderstorms possible through Thursday morning.
