JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Based on a true story, a commercial pilot Barry Seal (Tom Cruise), is hired by the CIA to transport drugs and guns to an army in South America. He is supposed to help the U.S. government fight the war on drugs. Along the way, he gets involved with the Medellin cartel and the Iran-Contra affair.

This movie is intriguing, full of action, suspense, humor and jaw-dropping moments. The director does an excellent job of integrating history with Seal's reality. Leave the kids at home for this one.
