2 Charged In Slaying Of Westside Couple

Neighbors Shaken By 'Brutal' Killings

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police on Sunday announced the arrests of two people in last month's killing of a Westside couple that neighbors described as deliberate and brutal.

Reginald Williams, 30, and 24-year-old Keiyoda Williams were found shot to death July 22 at their townhouse in the 8300 block of Homeport Court, just off 103rd Street. In addition, a bullet grazed the couple's 3-year-old son. He was treated and released to family members.

Witnesses told police the shooter had two guns -- one a shotgun -- and fired dozens of shots.

"After people were already dead, they came back again and started shooting again at them," one neighbor told Channel 4 the morning after the shootings.

On Sunday, homicide detectives announced the arrest of Derrick Goldson, 19, and Jessica Delancy, 21. Both were being held without bond pending a hearing before a judge.

"I just praise God that they got them," said one neighbor, who still doesn't want her name used or face shown. "It was very definitely scary knowing that someone that close to my house ... was on the loose and in the neighborhood."

Goldson is charged with two counts of murder and one count of aggravated battery on a pregnant woman.

Delancy was charged with one count of murder.

Police did not talk about a possible motive in the fatal shootings.
