FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. – Fernandina Beach police are investigating a robbery that happened Saturday morning at the Color Wear Clothing Store.
Police said a man entered the store and acted like he was shopping, then approached the clerk and handed her a note demanding that she open the register and remove all of the bills.

Investigators said the man did not put on a black ski mask until after he gave the clerk the note.
Police said the man kept his hand in a canvas bag, giving the impression that he was armed, but he did not show a weapon during the robbery.
They said after receiving the cash, the man fled the store.
Witnesses outside of the business said they saw the man fleeing from the area riding a beach cruiser-style bicycle.
The man is described as being between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10 with short hair, clean shaven and weighing between 150 pounds and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light-colored T-shirt and khaki pants.
