Fort Stewart soldier's body found in Camden County

2 people being questioned about homicide

CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. – The Camden County Sheriff's Office say two people are being questioned Wednesday, one day after the body of a 25-year-old Fort Stewart soldier was found along Union Carbide Road.

Deputies said two men found the body of James A. Willis III at about 10:30 a.m. about 20 feet off the side of Union Carbide Road, about nine miles east of Interstate 95, near the entrance to Cabin Bluff.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation processed the crime scene and is assisting with the investigation. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
