Thieves steal expensive purses from 3 Dillard's stores

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A group of thieves has been stealing expensive Michael Kors purses from Dillard's stores across northeast Florida.

Investigators said they have hit the stores in the Orange Park Mall, Avenues Mall and St. Johns Town Center so far.

The thieves are getting a couple thousand dollars worth of purses each time, stealing them using a "grab and run" tactic.

All three locations have given descriptions of a mint color Ford Escape or mint color vehicle the thieves were seen leaving in (similar to the one pictured right).

The Clay County Sheriff's Office released surveillance photos of the thieves in the Orange Park Mall store.

Anyone with information about the crooks' identities or about the vehicle they drive while committing the crimes is asked to call the Clay County Sheriff's Office at 904-264-6512.
