JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – He's been playing packed shows at Veterans Memorial Arena the last two weekends but Saturday, Garth Brooks held a football camp in the River City with help from former Jaguar Mark Brunell.
Brooks' "Teammates for Kids" organization hosted the camp at Robert E. Lee High School.
The country superstar holds a camp in every city he plays on his world tour.
Dozens of kids came out to learn how to pass, catch and kick.
Brooks said the camp is about more than just football -- it's about teaching life lessons.
"You're not raising athletes. You're raising young men and women," Brooks said.
Brooks also hosted a basketball camp in Chicago and a football camp in Atlanta during his tour last month.
