Son of UF deputy police chief arrested for DUI

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The son of the deputy chief at the University of Florida police department was arrested and charged with DUI.
Marc Alan Dunn was booked into the Alachua County Jail just after 4 a.m. Dunn is the son of UF police Deputy Chief Tony Dunn.
Capt. Jeff Holcomb with the University of Florida police department said the agency had no official statement on the arrest. But did say UF police made the initial stop, but called Gainesville police for the investigation once officers realized the suspect was Dunn.
According to a search on the Alachua County Clerk of Courts' website, Dunn was also arrested on suspicion of DUI in 2013 but the case was closed because of insufficient evidence.
