JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The friends of a man found murdered in his own home want closure for his grieving family.
Michael Johns' friends raised $2,250 to increase the First Coast Crime Stoppers reward for information leading to an arrest from $3,000 to $5,250.
Johns, 61, was found dead in his Westside home Jan. 14 after police responded to Reynolds Lane because of a medical emergency call. Police said their investigation revealed Johns had been murdered.
The family asked that anyone with information on the case, no matter how small they think it is, please call and report it.
