Officers say man may have information about killing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the public in locating an 18-year-old man who they believe might have information about a murder.

Rogelio David Ortiz Medina, 18, is sought by deputies. They believe he has information in reference to the murder of 24-year-old Minor Ramos.

Ramos was killed Sept. 7 in the 3700 block of Toledo Road. Police initially said was a death after a "suspicious altercation" at the Kings Trail apartment complex that afternoon, not far from Wolfson High School. 

A week later, when police identified Ramos as the victim, investigators said his death was considered a murder.
