Man shot, critically injured in NW Jacksonville


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was hospitalized with critical injuries after he was shot Sunday evening, according to Jacksonville police.

It happened at about 8:00 p.m. when police were called to the intersection of West 16th Street and Myrtle Avenue. They found a man nearby on West 16th Street who was shot multiple times.

The man was taken to the hospital and was said to be in critical condition. His name and age have not been released.

There was no description of a suspect.
