JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police on Thursday released surveillance video of a triple shooting last month in the Biltmore area of Northwest Jacksonville.
It happened just after 4 p.m. on March 23 at North Edgewood Avenue and New Kings Road.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, three people were in a white Chevrolet Impala when a light-colored four-door Acura ILX pulled up next to them, fired shots then took off.
One of the three occupants in the Chevrolet was hit in the head, and the other two were shot in the torso, police said.
The Acura, which had been reported stolen prior to the shooting, was later identified and recovered, investigators said.
Police are now trying to locate the witnesses in the red vehicle that was behind the Acura at the time of the drive-by shooting or anyone who can provide information about the people inside the Acura.
