24-year-old last heard from Monday

Zachary Asufra Taylor, 24, was last heard from on July 10, his family says.

NEW SMYRNA, Fla. – New Smyrna beach police issued a missing person’s bulletin Thursday for a University of Central Florida student.

Zachary Asufra Taylor, 24, was last heard from via a text message on July 10 and there has been no activity on his cellphone since then, New Smyrna Beach police said.

Authorities believe Taylor was likely in the Jacksonville or Bunnell area when he was last heard from.

Taylor is a UCF student at the Orlando campus and lives in New Smyrna beach.

His family told police he has left in the past, but only for two or three days.

Because of a medical condition, his family is concerned that Taylor’s health is at risk.

Taylor may be traveling in a 2015 black Honda Civic with the Florida tag EETS45.

Anyone with information about Taylor’s whereabouts is asked to call the New Smyrna Beach Police Department at 386-424-2220.
