MARION COUNTY, Fla. – SnapJax user-submitted photos and videos show a waterspout forming in Marion County Friday evening.
Photos and a video submission from “Jan” and “J Collins” shows the waterspout form over Lake Weir, a fresh-water lake located in southern Marion County.
Waterspouts can be dangerous to boaters if they get too close.

WKMG in Orlando also had viewers capture the waterspout.
