The Georgia Department of Public Health on Monday reported 4,045 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of those cases, 55 were reported in the six Southeast Georgia counties tracked by News4Jax.
As of Monday, a total of 591,106 confirmed cases had been reported by the state Department of Public Health.

The agency on Monday reported seven additional confirmed deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 9,900 confirmed deaths since the start of the pandemic.
According to the state Department of Public Health, 5,482,790 tests have been performed in the state, which had a 10.3% positivity rate, as of Monday.
Georgia was reporting a total of 104,957 antigen positive cases and 1,071 “probable” deaths on Monday. For more on those categories, click here.

On Monday, 112 additional hospitalizations were reported, bringing the state’s total to 42,595 since the outbreak began.
