Police: Man found shot to death in Brentwood identified

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 27-year-old man found shot to death Oct. 6 at a home on East 31st Street has been identified by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Garrick Austin's body was found inside the house after a 911 call came in about 3:30 a.m., police said.

Police said patrol officers found the door open and evidence of drug activity in the Brentwood home.

Police did not have any suspect information.
